As the time is running out for The Gunners to sign in new players for the club, a cracking news has hit the social media and internet today about Arsene Wenger’s attempt to bring three Real Madrid players, and this news for no reason should be taken lightly as Wenger in the past has claimed himself that expect anything to happen on the transfer deadline considering he aslo signed 5 players on the last deadline day.
Over the last week, three Real Madrid players have been linked with arriving at the Emirates, to a combined cost of almost £110 million.
With Gareth Bale’s arrival imminent at Real Madrid, The Argentine flamboyant and stylish winger, Angel Di Maria is feeling insecure as his starting position at the Los Blancos is subject to jeopardy. The Argentine is a talented winger who would be a quality addition to any squad, but his wages are thought to be one reason Arsenal may not see through their interest.
Karim Benzema was another player who was strongly linked to the Gunners as they are pursuing a quality striker who can add the goals missing by Arsenal’s frontline. However it is a stretch to imagine the Frenchman leaving, now he is finally the focal point in attack with Gonzalo Higuain sold. At Arsenal he would face more competition via Olivier Giroud than he would currently at Madrid.
The third player is Iker Casillas who has had a year sidelined due to Jose Mourinho’s politics at the club. But the Real Madrid legend was still in the bench in the last game with people questioning Carlo Ancelotti’s decision.
According to sources, Arsenal have decided to bid for these three players as they will perfectly fit into the gaps of quality in Arsenal’s squad. Now it’s up to Wenger whether he puts into the desired amount which Madrid wants or not.
