Wenger meets French striker’s agent

Azeem March 8, 2013 3

Arsenal manager has met with Yaya Sanogo’s agent in France and they would like to land him at the Emirates as a free agent in summer, French newspaper L’Equipe has revealed.

The representative and Wenger met last week, and Wenger was also accompanied by a former Arsenal player and the club’s France scout, Gilles Grimandi.Sanogo will be available to Asrsenal forfree as his contract with Auxerre, French Ligue 2, expires this summer.

Lille are also looking to sign the youngster, so Arsenal will face competition.

Sanogo’s past year was marked by a groin injury, but he made an impressive return following his recovery. He scored four goals against Laval, and three against Troyes.

Arsenal may not be signing a big name now, but a ’free’ substitute who can score goals will be good for Wenger. He can also develop him into a better player, like he did to some other young players in the past.

AW has no idea what Arsenal problem is. Is Sanogo better than Walcot, Giroud, Gervinho, Poldi 9 or Carsola?
God pls intervene before fans start to die of heart attack.

“develop him into a better player, like he did to some other young players”
Not sure who you are talking about but I don’t see Wenger inspiring players, on the contrary they can’t wait to get away from him and his failed coaching techniques.

Good players arrive at Arsenal and under perform, getting the best out of players is a managerial skill Wenger doesn’t have.
