All eyes were on Arsenal after the last night’s disappointing draw against Southampton which could lead to Arsenal losing the number 1 spot in the Premier League as City have one game in hand.
Arsene Wenger has hinted that his side may be busy in the final three days of the transfer window as they look to get their season back on track after a lacklustre display against Southampton.
The Gunners were well below par in their performance against the Saints, going one goal down in the first half and looked likely to concede more as they failed to lift the handbrake.
The Premier League leaders came out with a much better performance in the beginning of the second, scoring two goals through Olivier Giroud and Santi Cazorla within five minutes of each other, only to be cancelled out by the intervention of Adam Lallana, who scored the equaliser to get Southampton back in.
Now, Arsene Wenger was asked that whether he will sign players in the remaining 2 days of the transfer window to keep them in the hunt for the silverware, he said,
“I hope we’ve something to tell you [on signings by Friday].”
