Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger really wants to get his hands on the German international Marco Reus and the Frenchman is said to be a big fan of the player.
The versatile German has been attracting interest from a lot of clubs in the world because of his skill and technique as an attacking player. The player would be a great addition to the Arsenal squad who is in crucial need of a good attacking player. He has scored 42 goals from 90 appearances for BVB.
The Metro claims that the Gunners will not land the player this summer but they will be the ‘front runners’ in signing him next summer. They even claim that the Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is ‘desperate’ to sign the player.
Reus has a £19.8m release clause in his contract and it will be activated next year after the player’s contract with the German outfit expires. However, arsenal should keep in mind that once Reus becomes available, all the top European clubs will attack him like vultures.
