Wenger admits he needs to make new signings

Arsene manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that he is very happy with all the summer transfer deals he has made so far and he claims that he is open to making new signings before the period ends.
Arsenal has signed Mathieu Debuchy, David Ospina and Calum Chambers along with the sensational Alexis Sanchez from FC Barcelona.
Arsenal.com has quoted Wenger as saying: “I’m happy with the players I signed, with their quality and their attitude,” Wenger said. “There hasn’t been a massive change but we signed Debuchy, Sanchez, Ospina and Chambers, all of them have integrated well mentally into the team.”
This seems somewhat true since Wenger easily defeated the BPL Champions Manchester City to win the Community Shield.
“We are not destabilised and I feel it’s a strong reinforcement of our squad. Will I still do something? I don’t rule it out. Our finances are still healthy but we want to go through in the Champions League group stages to do that,” said the Frenchman.
“Number-wise we are maybe a little short in some areas of the game but the depth of the squad is very good.”
This shows that Arsene Wenger understands that Arsenal are lacking at some positions and they still have time to make new signings. However, Wenger’s priority for now is qualifying for the Champions League.
