Watch out Arsenal; You are not going to sign the Italian star easily!

The Daily Star claim that reports in Italy have stated that Jose Mourinho is also interested in signing Ranocchia in January as he prepares for the exit of David Luiz.

A number of Premier League clubs are interested in getting their hands on this man including Arsenal, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea, with the Blues being the latest addition.

Ranocchia has been linked away from Inter Milan ever since the number of his appearances began to decrease under their manager Walter Mazzarri and the Star claim that the Italian side is planning to sell him this winter.

The 25-year-old made his senior debut for Italy in 2010 against Romania, and is rumoured to be a part of the Italian squad for the World Cup 2014. Star argue that clubs would like to sign him before his price goes sky high after the World Cup.

Ranocchia, however, has been declining all links away from the club.

“Many silly things have been written about me, that I am unhappy and I want to leave.”

“I am just thinking about this shirt and paying back the fans for the affection they have for me.”
