As it was promised from the day one Arsene Wenger had a considerably and comparatively a huge transfer muscle this season. But, Arsenal on the other hand haven’t been able to land a stellar signing and have completed the signings of Mathieu Flamini and Yaya Sanogo on a free.
Arsenal had their champion’s league draw going unexpected as they have been drawn in the group of death with stronger opponents like Dortmund, Napoli and Marseille. And now their need of reinforcements have been peaking. The good news is that Arsene Wenger has reacted to that and according to Daily Mail, he has opened the talks of the trio swoop and have received positive feedback.
Despite all three players insisting they want to stay at the Bernabeu, Real will listen to offers for the trio as they look to balance the books after committing £86m to signing Gareth Bale from Tottenham. The Gunners are working frantically on a deal that could see all three arrive at the Emirates by the transfer deadline on Monday.
The only hurdle for Arsenal in the deal is that Tottenham are stalling Gareth Bale’s move to Los Blancos and Madrid are only waiting for the imminent transfer to happen which will give the green signal to the trio’s transfer at the Asburton Grove.
Wenger also remains interested in Newcastle midfielder Yohan Cabaye and Valencia keeper Vicente Guaita.
