Scintillating news was reported moments ago that Arsenal’s top transfer target this season now has suddenly approved of Arsenal’s bid with Arsene Wenger finally looking to land a signing of the stature he promised. Schalke were demanding 60m for their stellar player Draxler and now Draxler was reported saying he will leave to Arsenal provided the bid is accepted by their negotiators.
According to Goal.com, Draxler said, “I don’t mind people speculating; I’ll let them have their fun. If nothing extraordinary happens, I will be here on Monday. But Schalke could change their mind and say ‘Well, 40 or 30 million euros is not so bad,’ and then I can’t do much about it. If the club absolutely wants to sell me, I will not say ‘No, I want to stay.”
At present Arsene Wenger is purely concentrating towards the game which everyone awaits for, The North London Derby. But it would be very interesting to see what he has to say about Draxler’s comments moments ago.
Will Wenger again leave it for the selling club like he did in the case of Luis Suarez? Or he will push for the creative player by offering more money from the strong transfer muscle he has this time. Only time will tell. But one thing is for sure, the signing of one of the best German talents will make Arsenal a force to reckon with upfront.
