Rumors regarding Loic Remy joining Arsenal were thrown around in majority for the past couple of weeks only to be fueled even more when he was spotted at Emirates watching Arsenal’s game with West Bromwich Albion. It is thought that Arsenal boss is an admirer of the French International who has impressed while playing for Newcastle and Queens Park Rangers and it is thought that his partnership with Giroud will excel.
It is now reported by The Mirror that Remy was actually at Arsenal as a guest of Bacary Sagna, his international teammate with France. And, despite the Remy’s trip to Arsenal seemingly being an innocent one, the 27-year-old does remain a target for the club.
Remy is on loan at Newcastle from Queens Park Rangers and has scored 14 Premier League goals for the club this season. He is expected to secure a permanent transfer away from Loftus Road in the summer, although things may be subject to change if QPR achieve promotion through the playoffs.
Were Arsenal to make a formal approach for Remy, then QPR would reportedly request around £15 million in order to for the Gunners to complete the player’s transfer.
