The French Newspaper L’Equipe have printed a report claiming that Newcastle will not sell Yohan Cabaye to a Premier League rival, and would rather prefer selling him to a foreign club. Interestingly, Newcastle’s only main rivalry is with Sunderland, and they have no plans of taking Cabaye from them.
The only Premier League that wants Cabaye is Arsenal, and by considering them as their rivals and by not offloading their unhappy players, Pardew might get stuck in a problem.
The Times are reporting that Arsenal are planning another bid for the player around £13.5million, which is greater than their previous bid of £12million, which is still less than what the Toons expect for him – something in between £18million and £20million.
The big-spending French club Paris Saint-Germain were linked to Cabaye as well, but Pardew admitted that the only bid he received was from Arsenal, and Lady Arse Gossip’s article about it claims that Pardew does not know about what is happening at the club.
