Star stiker’s agent Dalibor Lacina has welcomed offers from other clubs for his client by slating down the chances of Newcastle United to acquire him.
The striker who slammed goals against Premier League giants like Manchester United, was signed by Swansea City last summer. He scored 25 impressive goals in all competitions for his side.
This is a good sign for Arsene Wenger who needs to add attacking flair to his side and Bony could prove to be a good signing for Arsenal.
Lacina told The Shields Gazzette: “I know Wilfried. I brought him over from Africa and I know what he can do. I used to be a player and coach myself.
“I told them that he would score goals wherever he played but it was only Huw Jenkins [the Swansea chairman] who took the risk. Now he is worth £20m.
“Newcastle is a traditional, fantastic club but they are always the same with transfers. I was in contact with them a couple of years ago over Tomas Ujfalusi, who played for Atletico and Fiorentina, but it was a similar story.”
However, if Arsenal can get their hands on Mario Balotelli for £20m, then he would definitely prove to be much better signing for the Gunners.
