As we all know that England’s manager Roy Hodgson still has not selected Rio Ferdinand for this month’s world cup qualifier despite of John Terry retirement .A whole saga is going on between Hodgson and Rio Ferdinand but Sir Alex is very delighted with Rio’s snub .
Sir Alex recently urged Ferdinand to leave his England career and concentrate on his club career and looks like Roy Hodgson is fulfilling the wish of Sir Alex .Sir Alex told that press that
“I am not going into that but I am happy anyway because I think at his age he should be protecting himself as best he can.”
Sir Alex refused to lay comment on Roy and Rio saga and thinks that the decision of Hodgson is far more important for him than another .He added
“Hopefully by doing that he will be far more important to me than England.”
