Sir Alex blames Nani for League Cup knock-out!

Amidst all the transfer updates that pop in just every day, here is something to add spark to that fire. Manchester United got beaten by Chelsea last night ,which knocked them out of the Capital One Cup and Sir Alex slammed Nani for that.

The United side that played had touches of experience along with players who inexperienced. A side with Ryan Giggs as their captain had Scott Wootton and Michael Keane on defense. Sir Alex had to take some risk and the matter went out of his hands when United conceded a late penalty.

As the score 5 – 4 predicts, the game was a close one. Chelsea’s line-up had players who were determined to score every time after United did but that did not affect United.

However, Chelsea had no plans of losing the game. In the second half, Roberto Di Matteo brought Ramires, Hazard and Oscar showing that he badly wanted to take revenge for Chelsea’s home-defeat by United.

Sir Alex was not affected by such tactics of RDM and he substituted to bring on Powell, Tunnicliffe and Macheda.

Also, you cannot say that United did not play well or did not try. The lack of experience of some players and the match fatigue led to United conceding goals. However, the match was a delight to watch.

Sir Alex seemed very disappointed with the result as he thinks his team had controlled the entire match. Despite enjoying good performances, Fergie was not happy with Nani’s game.

“We gave the ball away for the third goal,” Ferguson said.

“We were in complete control of the match at that point, playing really good football and all we needed to do was see the game out and keep possession. Nani decided to try and beat a player, lost the ball and we ended up conceding a penalty kick. It’s disappointing.

“Some of our football was terrific. Our counter-attacking was very good, but if you are winning 3-2 in the final seconds of the game then you should see it out. We only have ourselves to blame, really.”

Hopefully, this would not drive Nani out of Manchester United.
