Arsenal’s midfield is in sparkling form executing the typical Arsene Wenger’s game in style. One would think that Arsene Wenger now won’t be looking to add any more players in the midfield but reports have suggested that Arsenal are now eyeing the unsettled Claudio Marchisio to land him in January.
The 27 year old Italian international is also on Man United’s transfer radar and is said to have an uncertain future at the Turin club he has represented for his entire professional career.
Antonio Conte has handed Arturo Vidal a new contract with new deals expected to be signed by Paul Pogba and Andrea Pirlo which could leave Marchisio considering his options at the Serie A club.
Considering that Jack Wilshere, Aaron Ramsey, Mikel Arteta and Tomas Rosicky vying for spots in Arsene Wenger’s starting eleven, one would really have to think where the Italian would fit in. But it could be a great buy for Arsenal as he would be available for fewer price plus any big signing can change the atmosphere at the club with Ozil being the prime example.
