Let’s be honest, Arsenal are short of world class players. Apart from may be Mertesacker, Laurent Koscielny, Mesut Ozil and Santi Cazorla, there are not many who could fall in the world class bracket.
Santiago Cazorla is one of the most creative players in the Barclays Premier League and there is no doubt about it. Moreover he is arguably one of the strongest two-footed players in the world and surely whoever doubts his quality would be asking for a lot of questions for their claim.
But surprisingly former Arsenal striker Charlie Nicholas has claimed that the Spaniard is not good enough for Arsenal and this will make you think hard. These comments might have originated after Cazorla’s claim that he would leave Arsenal if trophies don’t come his way.
“The team’s had bad injuries but some of these players who are playing just now have not turned up to any of the big games,” Nicholas said on Sky Sports News.
“I’m probably going to upset some Arsenal fans with certain names. Cazorla’s been an eye-catcher but he’s simply not good enough for Arsenal.
“He’s got magical feet, he’s got the talent to play at Arsenal but he doesn’t turn up in the big games. It’s up to the players to show fight.
