Robbie Savage: ‘Wilshere will leave Arsenal and join a ‘bigger club’

Robbie Savage believes that Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere will eventually leave Arsenal and join a ‘bigger club’.

Though Wilshere is all set to become Arsenal’s new captain, Savage claims that the trophy drought could force him out of the club.

“I think they risk losing Jack Wilshere to a bigger club capable of fighting for major prizes, just as they have lost Robin van Persie, Cesc Fabregas, Thierry Henry Patrick Vieira and others down the years,” Savage told The Mirror.

“Terminal decline is probably a bit harsh, but I fear Arsenal’s season could get even worse.

“Now they have barely a dozen games left to try and salvage fourth place in the Premier League – but don’t put your mortgage on it. They are going to struggle to make the Champions League again next season.”

savage is correct and wiltshire will join either man united or spurs…its pointless him continuing with a mediocre team who are managed by a man who has no wish to win trophies……..he needs a club going places like spurs or united.

Because Spurs are a step up? There’s no question the gap has been closed but really, get some perspective!

Usual ‘has beens’ trying to get a bit of publicity. As for Spurs being a step up lmfao. When was the last time Spurs finished above Arsenal…..??? You lot are delusional…..when you have been there and done it consistently have a go but till then you’re just one season wonders…maybe, probably, most likely….not even that.

If Arsenal don’t start winning things they’ll have trouble holding onto their top players. Wow, what an insightful comment. Here’s another one – if Savage can’t start making meaningful comments he’ll have trouble holding onto his job as an analyst. Hypothetically of course.
