Arsenal’s season is nowhere near over yet as much as the people say that it is. Yes they have dropped drastically considering they were bossing the league table but injuries haven’t helped their cause either. Aaron Ramsey was in the form of his life helping Arsenal flying on top but his injury was the biggest setback.
No matter what people say about Ozil, the truth is, Arsenal miss him. Past two losses Arsenal were definitely out of creativity which Ozil provides him. All these injuries along with Theo Walcott’s absence haven’t left Wenger with too many options on the bench.
Things are slowly healing but unfortunately it’s too late for the league title. Fourth place isn’t as important this time as ending the silverware drought is and players like Ramsey and Kallstrom have a chance to do this against Wigan with both of the favorites to play the game.
Suspension and poor form among his midfield rivals mean Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey may be fast-tracked into a starting role for the club’s FA Cup semi-final tie with Wigan this weekend, while reports suggest January signing Kim Kallstrom could also start as manager Arsene Wenger looks to shuffle his pack in a bid to allay the side’s poor form.
