With January transfer window just around the corner managers would be developing plans and think of ways to improve their squad which can make their season and specially for Arsenal its very important to sign a striker if they want to sustain the top spot in the PL.
Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata is ‘likely’ to make a six-month loan move to Arsenal in January to help fire the club to the Premier League title, according to the Daily Mail.
Arsenal lead the way in the Premier League at the half-way stage of the season but boss Arsene Wenger is expected to add to his strike-force next month as he’s currently heavily reliant on Olivier Giroud but the gunners would like to change that specially with teams pressing them in the table as they have only a 2 point lead from the third spot.
The Mirror claims Arsenal will bring in Morata on a short-term basis before trying to sign one of his primary targets in the summer. The 21-year-old is highly-rated at Real Madrid but is struggling to secure regular playing time under Carlo Ancelotti this season with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale all understandably ahead of him in the pecking order.
The newspaper suggests that Ancelotti has given Morata the green light to leave the club on loan in January in order to get more first team football under his belt and it appears he is now the player most likely to move to north London this winter.
