None of the players of your team that you consider to be legends are safe from the hands of this team. After Lionel Messi’s clear cut no, PSG are looking forward to signing Cristiano Ronaldo, but have not bided yet.
Paris Saint-Germain have denied that they have made a £100 million bid for world-wide star Cristiano Ronaldo. However, it is widely speculated in the Italian and French media that PSG are not only trying to snatch Ronaldo from Real Madrid, but are also keeping an eye on Jose Mourinho.
The ex-Manchester United winger has not hidden his disappointment over the failure of signing a new contract with the La Liga winners
Money is not an issue for a club like PSG who is backed by Qatar’s richest bankers.
However, the club’s president Nasser El-Khelaifi has revealed that PSG have not yet made any contact with Madrid over Ronaldo.
‘Cristiano Ronaldo is a Real Madrid player,’ said El-Khelaifi.
‘I have not contacted his club, and no-one has contacted me about him.’
PSG are not far away from English teams such as City and Chelsea in their quest of making a bigger team with financial resources. They spent £25 million on Ezequiel Lavezzi from Napoli and £15.7 million on Zlatan Ibrahimovic from AC Milan in the summer. However, their spending spree has not ended yet and might continue in this January and June’s transfer period.
