An extravagant claim has been made by the German star who volunteered to help filling the missing gap in the Arsenal strike department. Arsene Wenger has always been a man who admires and develops youth talent but when it comes to the need of mixing it up with experience the Frenchman has never hesitated.
With the quality of Arsenal’s midfield and experienced prolific finisher will fill the missing ingredient to their dominance in the Premier League.
Step forward Lazio’s Miroslav Klose who scored the 200th club goal of his career this season. Klose has admitted he wants to call time on his experience in Rome, where he has bagged more than 30 goals in two seasons for a new challenge to freshen himself up ahead of the World Cup, falling out of favour in the international set up.
The striker is one goal short of Brazilian striker Ronaldo in the all-time tournament top scorer list, and next summer is his final shot to write his name further into history.
Klose is now 35, and is reported by Bild as being set on a move to the Premier League. The website reported,
“Klose wants to go to England. Again and again there had been in recent years offers from the English Premier League. But Klose rejected them all, chose in 2011 for Italy. But now Klose will gladly play again on the island. He would become after the Arsenal stars Ozil, Podolski, Mertesacker and Chelsea’s Schurrle, fifth national team member playing in England.”
