Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that Paul Scholes will be out for another two weeks with the knee injury that has disrupted his season. Paul Scholes have not played a game since FA Cup 4th round win over Fulham.

Now he will miss Monday’s fifth round tie at home to Reading as well as the upcoming Premier League games against QPR and Norwich.

Sir Alex told the media:

‘This knee injury has just been bothering him a bit but we’ve trying another treatment on it over the weekend and probably another couple of weeks he’ll be back.’

Talking about Monday night’s FA Cup fixture against Reading. The Scot said

“Of course, I’ll make some changes for Monday night, even though it’s an incentive to get to the quarter-final. I don’t think that’s lost on any of the players.

“I think there’s a good spirit in place and they’re all contributing. Whatever side I pick we’re expected to qualify. That’s what happens at United. Whatever team you play you’re always expected to win.”
