Arsenal definitely owns the cash this time around with full support from the Gunners to land a big name signing. Their transfer kitty last season was around 70m and with almost half of it still left, Arsene Wenger will definitely target some world class players from the European teams in January.
After the arrival of a certain Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid, Arsenal have been linked to several world class quality players such as Khedira, Alonso and now its Pastore from PSG.
Arsenal’s reported interest in PSG Javier Pastore has been boosted by Pastore’s agent’s confirmation that his client will not be heading to Italy.
The unsettled PSG player has been linked to moves to the Italian league but his agent has now confirmed that his client does not have interest in playing in the Italian league any more. Reports from France suggest that he is eyeing a move for Arsenal as he wants to play under an experienced manager like Arsene Wenger.
With Spanish League and Bundesliga top teams full of players playing at Pastore’s position, it is evident that he is now eyeing Premier League.
Wenger was linked to the player in the last summer transfer window as a last minute transfer target after he failed in his attempt to sign other more rated strikers and if you believe reports in France, the Frenchman will likely go back for the player once the January transfer window has been flagged open.
Pastore wants a move away from the European Big Spenders as he doesn’t see himself as an integral part of the squad.
