Phil Jones has been ruled out of Manchester United’s clash against Real Madrid tomorrow .Phil Jones twisted his ankle in the FA cup tie against Reading and was found wearing a protective boot after the match .
Jones also did not take part in today’s morning training session which means that the injury is quite serious .When a question was asked about his fitness Sir Alex answered .
“He’s not fit. He won’t be fit for tomorrow.”
Although two weeks back,Sir Alex was confident that Jones had every of playing the clash but today he skipped the training session due a bad ankle .
Good signs for Manchester United are that Rio Ferdinand after missing the Norwich clash due to a flu is fit again and is anxiously waiting for the clash.Robin Van Persie ,Danny welback and patrice Evra who sustained slight knocks are fit and attended the training session normally .
Manchester United players specially Carrick is very much excited for the Real Madrid fixture .He told “The Sun ” that
“These are the nights you live for. It is extra special.”
“Every supporter is that little bit more vocal. They appreciate how important it is and what it means to get through.”
