United’s captain Nemanja Vidic is to remain sidelined until Christmas. Sir Alex Feguson has told MUTV that his man-in-charge will not return until the end of the December. After suffering from a cruciate ligament injury last year in the Champions’ League match against Basel, Nemanja has suffered from another knee problem which has led to a knee surgery.
“I think we’re talking around December for Vidic,” Sir Alex told MUTV. “Maybe around Christmas time.”
Vidic’s return might be crucial for the team but they will have to work without him as the defender might be approaching retirement in 3-4 years.
