Central defender Matija Nastasic is still not available for his in-form side due to a calf injury.
Right back Micah Richards remains doubtful for the clash after he was substituted during City’s match with Bayern Munich due to a hamstring strain.
However, Gael Clichy has overcome a knock and could be available to play against the Gunners.
David Silva has also returned after his 6-match absence as he was seen in action against Bayern Muncih.
Stevan Jovetic is a major doubt too as the player has resumed training for now.
Bacary Sagna’s fitness is still not fully assessed and he is a doubt for the match due to a hamstring strain.
Lukas Podolski has returned after his hamstring injury, but he might just not be match fit to play against City.
Alex Oxlade Chamberlain, Yaya Sanogo and Abou Diaby remain out due to their knee, back and knee injuries respectively.
Arsenal and City’s previous meeting at the Etihad ended as a 3-1 victory for the Gunners in a club friendly this August. It ended as a 1-1 draw last season, but City clearly have the home advantage here, especially considering the form of the Blues this season.
The Gunners continue with their amazing form this season but their real test begins now as they get to face big teams in a row. They lost to the out-of-form Manchester United earlier this season so pressure could really get into the heads of the Arsenal players. Also, a victory for City here could mean that Arsenal would lessen their top of the table gap to just 2 points (if Liverpool win against Spurs and/or if Chelsea win against Crystal Palace).
The match will surely be 90 minutes of excitement!
