Borussia Dortmund and Germany star Mario Gotze has hinted that he may move to Manchester United, but there is still time to it.
Gotze, who is an attacking midfielder, is one of the most promising youngsters in the football world, and he has attracted interest from all over Europe.
At a young age of 20, Goetze has won 20 international caps, along with scoring 14 goals and making 16 assists in the German Bundesliga this season.
“Clubs such as Real Madrid, Barcelona or Manchester United are attractive, other top leagues would help me develop.
“But I’m not thinking of that at the moment,” Gotze told in an interview with German TV station Sport1.
“I’m happy in Dortmund and very happy how things are going. Therefore, it is still a bit away.”
Gotze had signed a contract extension with Dortmund that will keep him at the club til March 2016 and thus, he is unlikely to move in the near future.
“Yes [the contract was a sign he would stay in Dortmund], otherwise I would not be renewed. Then there would have been no reason for it,” he added.
