The long lasting midfield woes are on the verge of coming to an end as the Manchester United’s last deadline day target has hinted that he is not happy at the Los Blancos and feels left out after giving his all for the club.
United had their last minute bid rejected for Sami Khedira the recent transfer window but the doors are now open for United to act swiftly if they want to implement a correct and ideal midfield pairing of Michael Carrick and Sami Khedira.
Khedira was the subject of a late move by Manchester United this summer but following a metatarsal injury to Xabi Alonso and the sale of Mesut Ozil, the Spanish club blocked the move.
Khedira said he was committed to Madrid, but his latest comments will undoubtedly raises question marks as to whether the German international has a future at the Bernabeu. He said,
“I’m not a Spanish player, I did not cost a lot of money and I am one of Mourinho’s disciples. I started the season on the bench or in the stands. Even if I play well, I am the scapegoat and so will not be properly valued.”
Khedira also went on to criticise the club and their performances under new manager Carlo Ancelotti.
