Manchester United could sign 18m midfielder for FREE!

The problems in the midfield of the current Barclays Premier League champions continue as they even after signing Fellaini could not fill the voids in the middle of the park. United midfield tantrums have been in process since long back and to such a high extent that Paul Scholes had to come out of retirement.

Had United managed to keep hold of Pogba, they would not have been facing such issues.

Fans probably feel the club overspent for the former Everton man, so how about the club offset that negative view by pulling off the deal of the summer in 2014?

Step forward Blaise Matuidi, PSG’s midfield dynamo who is an automatic starter for the French champions. Matuidi is yet to agree a new contract, and his current deal expires next summer, meaning clubs are able to talk to him and sign him to a pre-contract agreement from January 1.

Last month, he said, “I am really at ease at PSG, my first wish would be to stay. But you can wish for something and sometimes it doesn’t happen. The club has a special place in my heart, but anything can happen in a career.”

He ranks in the top 5 players of most successful pass completion and also has prolific stats regarding interceptions. United should certainly go for him.
