The Uruguayan and Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has blasted the team GB’s supported for booing the Uruguay’s national Anthem .On Wednesday night Uruguay lost to team GB and was eliminated from the London Olympics 2012 but Suarez is not angry on the elimination ,rather he is upset and livid on the rash and disturbing behaviour he received at the start of the match. Fans at the Millennium stadium booed the national anthem of Uruguay and showed great disrespect.
On this strange behaviour Suarez angrily responded
“I can take the abuse. I don’t mind. But I think it was a total lack of respect from the crowd to boo when we were trying to sing our anthem.” “I’m hurt because we lost and we are going home.”
Luis Suarez who was banned for eight games last season for racially abusing the Manchester United left back Patrice Evra thinks that the people boo him because they are afraid to face a player of his calibre and Class. He thinks that people are scared of him but it does not affect him.
He proclaimed that
“I think they jeer me and they boo me here because they must be scared of facing a player like me.
“They fear me, but that doesn’t affect me.”
