The Telegraph report that the Gunners are now closing in on a double deal for Schalke’s Julian Draxler and Barcelona’s Cristian Tello.

However the thought of taking Tello on loan for the rest of the season has caused quite a stir. The 22-year-old is understood to be a long-term target for Arsene Wenger, but he could now be ready to formalise his interest after losing Aaron Ramsey to injury.
Tello would certainly offer Wenger’s side further attacking options especially after Theo Walcott was ruled out for the rest of the season, with the Spanish youngster regarded very highly in his native country.
