Kagawa focused on life in Manchester

Shinji Kagawa has shown to be extremely reluctant to answer when asked about whether he was planning to leave United in the future. The ex- Dortmund midefielder  left Germany this summer after building up a good reputation there.

Though he is not having a very good time settling here but Shinji has proved through his game and mentality that he will turn out to be a great Red. Rumours suggested that he could move to PSG or Barcelona in the future but Kagawa wishes to stay away from any such rumours.

“I have never thought about Barcelona or Madrid,” Kagawa told L’Equipe.

“Paris are a great team that will continue to grow this season. It is also a very nice city, but I am focused 100 per cent on life in Manchester.

“You never know what the future will hold.”

Right now, Kagawa is paying all his attention to playing and settling well at the English club which has won 19 titles.

Freshly aftyer scoring the only (and winner) goal against France in a friendly this weekend, Kagawa added: “I am now a Manchester United player and the fans and my team-mates expect more from me.

“Since arriving in Manchester I have had to watch my behaviour on and off the pitch. In Japan and Dortmund I didn’t have so much pressure.

“Three years ago I couldn’t have imagined evolving so quickly and being at a great club like Manchester United. It is proof that you never know what can happen.”

Kagawa will surely settle at United overcoming any barriers that he will face whether they are of language or whether it is the English media.
