Juventus star to replace Sagna at Arsenal

Martin Caceres joined Juventus last season from Sevilla. He was initially loaned out by Sevilla, but his move was later made permanent. He previously played at FC Barcelona, where he made only 13 appearances in the La Liga, and they sent him on loan to Juventus as well.

Caceres is known to be one of the best centre-backs and in times of need, he can also switch to left-back, making him an extremely versatile defender. He could be Wenger’s choice as reports claim that Bacary Sagna could be heading out from Arsenal.

It has been revealed that Arsenal chief scout Steve Rowley is expected to begin talks with Juventus. The Gunners are ready to pay £9 million for him, while Caceres still has three years left on his contract.

However, this depends on whether Arsenal will qualify for the Champions League next year or not, because young players like Caceres look for such big competitions where they could prove their worth. Arsenal, on the other hand, are currently at 5th position with Tottenham Hotspur four points above them.
