As the transfer window is nearing an end, Arsene Wenger has decided to accelerate his pursuit for a stellar signing with reports just coming in about Julian Draxler being Arsene Wenger’s top of the list target. According to the reports, The Gunners’ boss has offered £30m and surprisingly Lukas Podolski in a player plus cash deal.
Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis was at the club’s training ground yesterday trying to seal a deal which would ease the pressure on manager Wenger before the transfer window closes at 11pm on Monday. There is also news flowing about a £40m official bid being placed by Arsene Wenger but the Schalke are demanding a surprising £60m for the German midfielder.
The Mirror also reports that Real Madrid have offered Kaka to Arsenal in as they look at deals to thwart a fan revolt because they have yet to spend a penny and have so far spent no money in the transfer window despite of having a strong transfer muscle this time.
Arsenal seems to have still not given up the Geordie midfielder Yohan Cabaye who has his heart set on a move to North London. As the news on the media still portrays that Arsenal’s bid has unsettled Cabaye and he is tremendously attractive to the Champions’ League football.
