The lack of ability to attract new players has left Arsenal fans questioning the club’s quality. Arsenal fans have been facing some serious outrage from their supporters as we enter into the last few days of the window. Will Arsenal pull off a few signings on the deadline day like they did it in the last season? Atleast the Mirror thinks so.
As the summer transfer window enters into its last week, there will be many clubs all around the world in a mad scramble to secure last minute signings to add strength and depth to their respective squads. One team in particular that need desperate reinforcement are Arsenal, they have seen bids for the likes of Luis Suarez, Luiz Gustavo and Gonzalo Higuain fail to materialise this summer.
According to The Metro, Arsenal are signing two huge signings from Real Madrid, Iker Casillas and Mesut Ozil as Real Madrid are trying to reshape their squad fully with gathering money for Luis Suarez and Gareth Bale’s signing. Iker Casillas hasn’t featured much since last year in the starting 11 and as Arsenal are pursuing a goalkeeper, Arsenal want to place in a cheeky bid for the Spain captain.
Casillas, 32, considered a legend at Madrid, as he has been with them his entire career, will surely not want to leave his beloved club for a team that’s only achievement in recent years is qualifying for the champions’ league. Both Ozil and Casillas appear to be frustrated at Ancelotti’s new look Galácticos, as they have both played bit part roles for the club so far this season. So Gunners will have a very good case here.
