Manchester United’s young star Joshua King’s loan move is almost complete as he moves to Blackburn to gain experience. It is believed that the transfer will get complete when the move window opens in January. The loan deadlines in England in today so the Rovers will try to finalise things before ther window closes.
They wanted to sign the deal earlier this week but King’s involvement in United’s Champion match against Galatasaray caused hindrance.It was their hope to get something done earlier in the week, but King’s involvement in United’s UEFA Champions League clash with Galatasaray caused a delay.
Blackburn are, however, determined to add the 20-year-old to their squad
King has had some valuable international experience with Norway and some loan experience at Preston, Borussia Monchengladbach and Hull City.
He made his Champions League debut in Turkey, but we understand that Sir Alex wishes that he should get some more experience – and playing time.
He said: ‘I have set Christmas as a deadline. If I haven’t got more playing time by then, I will consider moving to another club. Considering the players United have, it is not easy to get into the starting 11.
‘I would prefer to stay in England, but in case I do return to Norway, Molde is the only option.’
Rovers will provide Joshua with the opportunities that he really wants as the club will struggle to get promoted to the Premier League.
Joshua King has never scored for Manchester United but has scored two goals during his loan spells. It is understood that he is one of the hottest prospects that Manchester United possess and he will make a great addition to the team when he matures enough to play for the first team.
