Arsenal faced an uphill task to stop the German Giants to fight again for the European Glory after losing to Chelsea last season in Final, who comfortably beat Arsenal 3-1.
Jack Wilshere was gutted after the defeat. He told BBC : ”We didn’t start great and against good sides you get punished. It’ll be tough but we’re not out of it yet. ”He (Wenger) puts us on the pitch & it’s down to us to perform. You can’t question the boss, he’s been here 16 years, We take it to their place & we need a few goals. We have the players to do it, we just have to start better.”
Wilshere tried but he was one of the culprits. The midfielders of which he is one never chased back to recover the ball whenever they lose it, you see them strolling back.
