Harry Redknapp proclaims that Van Persie is third best player in the world after Messi and Ronaldo .Harry reckons that if an opportunity was given to him to sign the three best players in the world than every body knows that Messi and Ronaldo will be the first two choices neglecting the order , while Robin Van Persie would be his third choice . Harry Redknap reckons Manchester United new striker was the best player of the league last season and truly deserves to be called the third best player in the world .Harry Redknapp believes that Robin Van Persie has the X factor that will help Manchester United to win their record 20th title . 
Harry Redknapp is so confident on Van Persie that he spoke to a mate that which ever club sign Van Persie would be considered favourite to win the title in his book . Now the question arises ,Is it really justice to call him the third best player in world with other world class players like Rooney ,Falco ,Xavi and Iniesta waiting in the contenders line .Although no doubt Van Persie is a world class striker but no one can deny the fact he is also an injury prone player and only one good season does not make you the third best player in the world . 
After all these things said ,an important thing should be kept in mind that all the best players in the world take their team to glory .Messi numerous of times played crucial roles in Barcelona’s silverware wining rage while Ronaldo last season single handedly helped Real Madrid to win the LA LIGA title and ended the supreme dominance of Barcelona but Van Persie during his stay at Arsenal did not help Arsenal to end their trophy drought .
Manchester United will play their first match of the season against Everton on Monday in which the début of Van persie for Manchester United is expected.
