Giroud interrupts in Arsenal’s Transfer Policy

The Metro have reported that Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud does not want a new forward in the January transfer window.

Giroud ended his goals scoring drought at Newcastle, but he should be acknowledged for the fact that he has been handling Arsnenal’s forward area since the season began. Giroud interrupted in Arsenal’s transfer by saying..

“If the coach wants me to rest, he can do it without buying a new striker,” he told French TV.

“Lukas Podolski is having a good comeback. Theo Walcott can play as a striker. We have the quality and the quantity.

“I would rather not see a new striker come in.”

Arsenal were linked to a number of strikers during the January transfer window including the likes of Stevan Jovetic, Higuain etc. However, Wenger did not sign any strikers. Arsenal have been linked to Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata in recent days.
