German forces Arsenal to land a top quality target:

Manager and the players know that this season has been a total disappointing because they were favorites to win the league. Much blame goes to the poor transfer activity in the summer and as well as in the winter. Despite of Arsenal signing Mesut Ozil they forgot to fill the huge void in the goal scoring department and the injuries cost them big time at the end.

So the players now want that Premier League medal desperately and want Arsenal to sign some big names in the summer window.

Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski has given his backing to an unlikely summer transfer target after urging Arsene Wenger to seal a deal for a performing mammal.

The 28-year-old Germany international posted a photo on Instagram after enjoying a game of head tennis with the impressive animal at a zoo in Cologne.
“That’s the new transfer target” enthused Podolski. “Currently he’s a big star in Cologne but we’ll see whether we can make him a Gunner.”

Podolski is currently in the middle of a flying visit back to his homeland, returning to Germany after Arsenal’s 1-0 win against West Brom at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
