A lot of players have alerted Arsenal of their availability after rumors that Arsenal will go all guns blazing this time in the transfer market. Last transfer window was just a glimpse of what Arsene Wenger would do every transfer window coming after. Arsenal are surely in dying need of a striker and a lot of strikers have expressed their desire to play for the North Londoners.
First it was Jackson Martinez and now the prolific French striker Emmanuel Riviere who has wanted to play under Arsene Wenger.
Olivier Giroud has struggled to cope with the workload on his own, as Nicklas Bendtner and Yaya Sanogo have done little to ease the burden on the Frenchman’s shoulders. A number of strikers have been linked with moves to the club, but Monaco hit man Riviere has thrown his name into the ring by revealing he is dreaming of a move to Arsenal.
He said, “England is my dream since I was a kid. I was dreaming of Arsenal. You have to believe and never let go. I’m good at Monaco today; I have three years left on my contract. There will surely be reinforcements this summer. We will see what happens.”
