Former Arsenal star would rather beat United than play for them!

Sunderland’s shot-stopper Vito Mannone says he is only focused on beating Manchester United and he does not want to play for them.

Vito Mannone was linked to Manchester United this transfer season and the link up came as much of a surprise for the fans as per their social media reaction. However, the goalkeeper was quick to deny it.

The former Arsenal goalkeeper says that he is focusing on beating United and not playing for them as he told SkySports:

“I am really living my best time right now at Sunderland and I don’t see why I would move right now.

“I want to stay as first choice and I want my performances to improve. That’s the only aim I have, apart from aiming to beat Manchester United. That’s the only focus I have on Manchester United.”

It is not like Manchester United are in need of a goalkeeper and they certainly would not be willing to let go of their keeper David de Gea who might not be in his exceptional form this season but he definitely has enough potential to save United in times of need.
