Sir Alex has refused Rafa Benitez’s claim of not shaking his hand before the start of the match .Rafa Benitez proclaimed that before the start of Chelsea-United FA cup quarter final match he waited for Sir Alex but he refused to shake his hand and walked away from him.
Toady Sir Alex has refused this allegation by saying that
“It is absolute nonsense. Why wouldn’t I shake hands? Have you ever seen me not shake hands with anyone?”
“I never saw him. I was signing autographs at the front and there was a lad who always wants to shake hands before a game because he says it brings me luck.”
“If Benitez wanted to shake my hand he could have stood in front of me.”
“I don’t know why he has said that. It is nonsense.”
United -Chelsea official FA cup quarter final clash ended up in 2-2 draw which produced the necessity of replay which will take place on 1st April.
