Everton’s midfielder Marouane Fellaini wants to move to London, which indicates that Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger will have to spend big this summer, as revealed by The Daily Mirror.

The Gunners are reluctant to pay the £23 million release clause in Fellaini’s contract.

The former Everton’s manager is also interested in signing Fellaini for Manchester United, but some sources reveal that Fellaini wants to make a move to Arsenal or Chelsea and the Belgium midfielder is willing to listen to their offers.

The North Londoners manager has clearly shown his interest in the Belgium star, and the Emirates’ club insists that they have the funds in hand to influence the transfer market, and make big signings.

Arsenal’s Chief executive Ivan Gazids said this week on Wenger: “He is not scared to spend money, but he has to believe he is a getting a top-class player.”

However, Wenger does not seem very convinced that £23million for Fellaini represents ‘good value’, and is not prepared to spend the desired amount of money that will trigger his release clause.

Former Everton boss signed Fellaini for a Everton-record fee of £15million from Standard Liege in 2008 and since then, the fee has risen.

The 25 years old scored 12 goals and made 5 assists in 31 appearances for the Toffees.

Arsenal and Liverpool target Clement Grenier could possibly stay at Lyon and extend his contract with the French side, instead of joining a Premier League team, L’Equipe has revealed.

Grenier’s future has been under the spotlight for a while now, with Arsenal dominating the race, but which has not really changed despite Liverpool’s interest.

The player has scored 7 goals from 28 appearances, and is a definite target for the Gunners, especially after the Gunners’ boss openly praised him and compared him to a younger Samir Nasri.

The playmaker’s contract at Lyon will end next summer, and the club are hoping to extend it by a minimum of twelve-months to avoid letting him go for free.

The player’s father had stated that he would not like him to move abroad, despite the North Londoners interest, but his agent has revaled that Lyon will have to ‘work hard’ in keeping him at the club.

The French youngster wants to make it to the French World Cup squad and he has only two caps yet, so a good run could ensure him a place in the squad.

He has played for France at younger levels.

Arsenal’s Lukas Podolski has given an interview to Polskatimes.pl where the player has talked about his first season in England, and Robert Lewandowski.

Podolski’s first season at Arsenal was not a total hit, and the player seems to understand that.

Arsenal, on the other hand, had struggled a bit on the end and the Gunners were on the verge of letting go off their Champions League qualification, but they succeeded.

Overall, it was a different thing for Poldi who had initially struggled with FC Koln to just stay in the Bundesliga, and he was now struggling to stay in the top-four.

“Not all games have been successful, even in the last round against Newcastle we fought for the win to secure a good future and to keep us to a certain level. Arsenal in the Champions League for 15 years in a row,” said the German, as quoted by Lady Arse Gossip.

“I think next season will be much better.

“It was a big jump for me. Previously, for three years I played with FC Koln to survive in the Bundesliga and it’s a little different level.”

The player seems to be very happy in London, and he actually ‘enjoys’ it here.

“[I] Quite enjoy it. London is a renovated city. English League is also great. There is no downtime. All the time quick action, the pace and the fans who sit near the end line in the middle,” he said.

The player also revealed that he conversed with the Polish Lukasz Fabianski and Wojciech Szczesny in Polish.

“Sure, all the time we talk in Polish, in the locker room, on the bus,” he revealed.

He was then questioned about his countryman Robert Lewandowski, who has been constantly linked away from Dortmund to other clubs.

To that the player said: “First of all, it should be him that will decide, not journalists or managers.

“This is a guy who in the league this season scored 24 goals.

“He could handle it virtually anywhere. [A] perfect fit, at least to us, to Arsenal.”

Podolski’s comment certainly shows that he wants Lewandowski at Arsenal, and who does not, especially after his excellent goal-scoring performances in the Champions League.

It was officially announced on August 7th, 2012 that Santi Cazorla has signed a long term deal with Arsenal for a fee of £18million. He was Wenger’s third signing of that summer, after the German Lukas Podolski and the Frenchman Olivier Giroud.

The Spanish made his debut on August 18th, 2012 against Sunderland which ended as a0-0 draw. He also became the man of the match for that game.

Cazorla scored his first goal for the North Londoners against Liverpool at Anfield.

Santi Cazorla’s Characteristics:

Santi Cazorla’s gameplay blended into Arsenal squad very well. The way Arsenal plays suited him a lot.

The Spanish midfielder has very strong passing abilities and that helped Arsenal’s overall strategy. He has good dribbling skills and he’s a talented long shot taker.

Cazorla is very deadly when it comes to direct free kicks. His work-rate is good when it comes to attack and defense. He enjoys good control on the ball and makes key passes for the team.

Cazorla’s style of play is very unique. He likes to play long balls and is a distance shooter.

The 28 years old scored 12 goals and gave 11 assists for the Gunners in 37 appearances.

The player will improve even more with the passage of time, and with the help of a deadly striker upfront, he could become an unstoppable assist-man.

Daily Mail have revealed that Arsenal’s wait is finally over as Gonzalo Higuain will be confirmed as an Arsenal player this week and the club will pay £22million for the striker.

The newspaper has revealed that the Argentine forward has already agreed on private terms with the club.

It has also been revealed that the talks between Higuain’s representative and Arsenal have gone well, and only talks between the clubs have been left over the transfer fee.

The North Londoners have kept an eye on the player since 2004 when he made his debut at River Plate. They had tried to sign him in 2006, but Real Madrid had the upper hand and they signed him.

However, Wenger’s wait will apparently end soon as he will get his hands on the striker.

Arsenal have been linked to other strikers as well like Wayne Rooney and Stevan Jovetic, but this move is the most likely one to take place.

The Daily Mail has revealed that Bacary Sagna and Laurent Koscielny are ready to stay in North London, and will soon remove all the doubts over there future.

Both the players have been subject to interest from all around Europe, and their future has been of a little worry to the Arsenal boss apparently.

Sagna’s deal will expire next season, and the player and Arsenal have failed to agree on a contract renewal. However, Daily Mail has revealed that the player will sign a 12-month extension and he has already informed Arsene Wenger of his plans to stay.

The player has been attracting interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Anzhi Mackhachkala are both ready to sign the player.

Koscielny, on the other hand, has informed the Gunners’ boss that he will stay at Arsenal despite his previous comments hinting towards a transfer.

The defender had previously stated that he would leave Arsenal if ‘the club did not match his ambition in the transfer market,’ as reported by the Daily Mail.

Koscielny is understood to be a very favourite of former Barcelona and now Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola.

The 27 year reign of Sir Alex Ferguson has ended. It’s time to move on. David Moyes has been brought in as the successor to the old veteran. Players who deserve a chance under the helm of the ex-Everton boss will stay and the rest will depart for a spell elsewhere.

Luis Nani is one of the players whose future at Manchester United is being considered.

Manchester United received a £6m bid for the Portugese winger last week from Turkish outfit, Galatasary, last week but was rightfully rejected.

The Carbo Verde native was purchased from Sporting Lisbon for a fee of £17 million in 2007. When Cristiano Ronaldo left the red half of Manchester for Madrid, Nani was expected to fill the void. As a result, many were left disappointed, at the same time, some still stand by him.

Nani is blessed with blistering pace, he has always been vital in the attacking third for United. Many forget about his contribution during the 10/11 season in which he played 31 games, scoring 9 goals while assisting 14. Next season, given the opportunity, he could be United’s game changer. Nani’s pace would give United an edge especially when counterattacking. The team’s pace as a whole, at times, has slowed down during the last couple of seasons. This is something Moyes must rectify.

Performance-wise, the wingers were awful last season. Ashley Young was out due to an injury lay-off during the run in while Antonio Valencia was facing his own demons down the right flank where he used to set ablaze himself not too long ago. Nevertheless, the Ecuadorian did show glimpses of his former self towards the end of the season.

It will be foolish to depend on Ryan Giggs to be running down the wing at the age of 40. At the same time, Manchester United must not place such a heavy burden on young Wilfred Zaha , who has helped Crystal Palace to a Premier League spot next season.
The players would be up to task during pre-season and next season, to make a lasting impression on the new boss. This yearning to impress will be beneficial for the team as a whole.

Manchester United’s success throughout the years have been made possible because of the role played by its midfielders otherwise known as its ‘engine room’. It’s logical to doubt that a change in management would mean drastic variance in terms of how each game will be anticipated.

Club’s captain, Vermaelen was being benched for his poor performances. an these defensive shackles eventually called for a signing and a good one. All the famous British tabloids are linking Ashley Williams’ move to Arsenal which can help the Gunners to improve their defense problems.

Ashley Williams, Swansea’s captain had a stand out season and is definitely worth buying for Arsenal in this summer transfer market. He is strong defender who is quick on his feet and powerful in the air, much like Sol Campbell was during his heyday. Arsenal needs to wrap up the deal as soon as possible.
