Since the start of the transfer window Arsenal’s squad has been facing lows and now with hardly 50 hours left, Arsenal are appearing to be pulling off the stroke of the season by very close to landing a world class striker in their starting eleven. First up was Gonzalo Higuain, but they failed to sustain their interest in him, resulting in his move to Napoli. They then tried to capture Luis Suarez, but that did not bear fruit either. Following which they seem to have finally settled on Karim Benzema.
According to The Mirror, the newly appointed Real Madrid manager is now massively trying to change the whole portray of the team with the likes of Angel Di Maria and Mesut Ozil being linked to a move away from the Los Blancos. Main reason behind this might be the imminent arrival of Gareth Bale.
The sales will also go a long way in helping Real Madrid also secure a deal for Luis Suarez, who is very keen on moving to Spain. There are reports of Arsenal’s bidding 100m plus on the Real Madrid trio. If this happens, Arsenal might end up with a couple of silverware at the end of the season.
All this spells good news for Arsenal who are very interested in signing the forward. The partnership up front with Olivier Giroud will be an interesting prospect for French football.
