Pique and Shakira

Pique and Shakira have been in the limelight since last year. Shakira officially confirmed their relationship on 29^th March 2011 when she shared his photo on her Twitter and Facebook with the caption ‘I present to you my sunshine’. Shakira has frequently been seen in the audience when Barcelona or Spain play their matches. She officially announced that she and Pique were expecting their first child.

Casillas and Sara

Sara Carbonero, who was voted as the ‘Sexiest Reporter in the World’ in 2011, has been in a relationship with Iker Casillas since 2009. Sara was alleged to have distracted Casillas during Spain vs. Switzerlan in the FIFA 2010 World Cup leading the Swiss to an unexpected victory. However after Spain won, Casillas kissed her during an interview which made the couple more famous. It was rumoured that they were to get married in July this year but nothing happened.

Messi and Antonella

In January 2009, Messi told a newspaper “I have a girlfriend and she is living in Argentina. I am relaxed and happy.” It was later found out that the girl was Antonella Roccuzzo. He was seen with her in a carnival at Sitges. On 2^nd June 2012, Messi celebrated his goal by placing the football under his jersey. He hinted towards Antonella’s pregnancy who is due next month.

Ronaldo and Irina

Since May 2010, Ronaldo has been dating Irina, a Russian model. They met through their Armani Exchange campaigns.

Bastian Schweinsteiger and Sarah

Sarah Brandner, a German model, is Bastian Schweinsteiger’s girlfriend. They live together in Munich.

David de Gea and Edurne

The Under-21 Spanish goalkeeper has been dating Edurne, a Spanish singer, for a while.

Anders Lindegaard and Missé Beqiri

Beqiri is a Swedish model and a blogger who lives with Lindegaard in Manchester. Their relationship got the limelight when Lindegaard posted on his Facebook that he had the best girlfriend in the world. To this she replied, “as good as it gets”.

Iniesta and Anna

Iniesta had been dating Anna Ortiz since 2008. In April 2011, she gave birth to Iniesta’s daughter, Valeria. The couple got married in July.

Wayne and Coleen Rooney

They both met in a secondary school and got married in 2008 after dating for sic years. Coleen gave birth to Kai Rooney in 2009.

Jonny Evans and Kate Wathall

Kate Wathall is a journalist-to-be and they have been in a relationship since 2009. Sir Alex was sitting alongside Evans in a press conference discussing how Rooney had improved since he had got married. A reporter then asked Jonny about his plans of getting married. Jonny Evans said “I really don’t want to talk about it, especially as my girlfriend is sitting in the middle of you all. She is on a work placement with ITV this week.” Sir Alex laughingly said, “Get him tied down dear. Rings are cheap now.” The couple have no plans of marrying yet.

Robin van Persie and Bouchra

Robin van Persie married his ‘first’ love Bouchra and now has two kids with her.

Fabregas and Daniella Semaan

Daniella is a mother of two and is the ex-wife of a millionare. Fabregas has a tattoo featuring a star with the letter ‘D’ inside his left arm which is accompanied with several Arabic words. The words mean ‘My Life D Forever’. Fabregas and Daniella met each other around two year.

Luis Suarez and Sofia Balbi

Sofia Balbi was Suarez’s childhood girlfriend and he married her in 2009. He has a daughter, Delfina.

Sergio Ramos and Lara Alvarez

Lara is also a news reporter and has been with Ramos for over a year.

Kaka and Caroline

Kaka married Caroline in 2005 and has two children.

Gerrard and Alex Curran

Gerrard married Alex in 2007 and has three daughters.

Crouch and Abbey Clancy

Crouch dated Abbey Clancy for some time in 2007 after which he announced that they were not in a relationship anymore. However, in 2009, he announced his engagement with her. His daughter was born in March 2011 and he married Clancy in June, 2011.
