Just like Lady Arse highlighted, Tottenham players just like to come out and comment on Arsenal and on how they are going to take over the Gunners this season. However, they have gone a little too far this time with their latest signing Christian Eriksen claiming that Ozil has achieved ‘a little bit’ more than him.
The youngster has been compared to Ozil because just like the German, he assisted on his debut as well
Eriksen told the Sun: “I think everybody, first and foremost, wants to be in the Champions League next season, for sure.
“Then we have, of course, to become champions. That is why he spent so much money on good players. That is just the sort of thing I want to be part of.
“I think our title chances are really good. We have had a good beginning and it is pretty easy to play with such good players.
“Arsenal are above us in the league at the moment, so we will have to turn that around for a start.
“I think he [Ozil] has achieved a little bit more than me!
“I am a few years younger [three years] and still have to learn a lot but it is nice to be compared, but from what I have heard it is not good to be compared with Arsenal players.
“Seriously, it is pretty cool to be compared with such big players.”
Now if you are wondering what that ‘little more’ is then Ozil has won one La Liga, one Copa Del Rey, one Supercopa, one UEFA Cup, one Bundesliga title, two DFB-Pokal, one UEFA Under-21 Championship while Eriksen has only won three Eredivisie titles and one KNVB Cup. Ironical, no?
