Graham Hunter, a Spanish football expert, has revealed some facts about Sami Khedira’s Arsenal move on talkSPORT.
Khedira’s contract with Real Madrid will run out next summer and he wishes to leave Real Madrid as talks with the club over a better wage package have broken down. It is reported that Arsenal are taking advantage of the situation and have already made a bid of €30.
Graham Hunter has revealed that a deal has already been agreed between Arsenal and Real Madrid. However, it has not yet been finalised since the Gunners are still holding talks with the player over his wage demands. Reportedly, Khedira wants £150,000 per week.
“Club to club, the deal between Arsenal and Real Madrid is done,” said Hunter, “but Arsenal didn’t fancy paying Khedira the wages he wanted.”
Hunter also revealed that the player would not mind staying at Madrid for one more season because he can then leave as a free agent next summer and demand his wages without any club pressure.
