David Moyes Reveals His January Transfer Window Plans

The club of Manchester United’s stature shouldn’t be hanging in the midtable when under Sir Alex Ferguson the red devils every year were considered as the genuine title contenders. The reasons of Manchester United’s troubles are widely discussed by the fans all over the world especially on social media.

It is true that Sir Alex had integrated a mentality of winning in the squad, winning every game in any situation. Even when Manchester United were 3 down in the first half, no one could write them out of the game. But not every manager should be expected to do that.

David Moyes, no matter how hard working a manager is but still he needs more quality in the team. Manchester United’s wing play isn’t firing with only Januzaj making a certain impression with his creativity. Valencia, Nani and Ashley Young are all under severe pressure and with Carrick out United midfield chases shadows. So David Moyes needs to add quality in the squad in the coming winter transfer window.

Moyes has said that he will not be pressured into making any panic buys for Manchester United in January. He insisted that the club will bring in quality which rightly fits in the squad.

“In any transfer window you don’t want to be bringing in a full batch of players, so I think there’s a period of time that it takes” Moyes said.

“The last one was a difficult one after just joining the club, so we’ve got a window in January where, if we think if it’s right for the club, we’ll do so.”

“If not, we’ll look again in the summer. This club is always looking to bring in the best talent and that won’t change.”

“I don’t think I’ll feel under pressure personally to do it [buy in January] as I’ll try to do the right things.”
