David Beckham has settled back in London as he is looking forward to joining a new club, but his son could join a new club before his father.

Daily Mail has revealed that the 14-year-old Brooklyn could, like his father, become a football player as he is currently on trial with Chelsea.

According to the Daily Mail, 14-year-old Brooklyn Beckham could follow in the footsteps of David Beckham by becoming a professional after it was revealed the youngster is on trial with Chelsea.

David Beckham was seen at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground on Tuesday. A lot of speculation grew linking David to Chelsea but he was merely present there to watch his son play.

The parents who were there watching their sons play were taken aback when they saw the Manchester United and Real Madrid legend there in the cold.

“Brooklyn is like any teenager with an ambition to be a footballer. He has just returned to England and wanted to see how he fared,” an insider is reported to have told the Daily Mail.

“Chelsea are one of the strongest academies in the country. The difference is that he is the son of the former England captain and this will draw attention.”

Interestingly, the day also marks the 20th anniversary of David Beckham’s beginning of professional footballing.

Beckham will be joining the last club now before retiring. He is being linked to Paris Saint-Germain after he left LA Galaxy last year in the end.
