Football association has announced that the FA cup quarter final replay between Chelsea and Manchester United will take place on 1st April .Their official and first FA cup encounter at old Trafford ended up in a 2-2 draw which resulted in a replay between the two giants.
The winner of the replay will be rewarded with the advancement and will face Manchester city in the FA cup semi final .
A statement of FA said:
“Following consultation with all relevant stakeholders, The FA can confirm that The FA Cup with Budweiser Sixth Round Proper Replay between Chelsea and Manchester United at Stamford Bridge will take place on Easter Monday 1 April, live on ITV. Kick-off is at 12.30pm (1230GMT),”
